Client evaluated a number of leading supplier from the Materials Handing Industry.
After evaluation SDI were selected to supply this expansion to an existing system
SDI
designed a system that would both increase the efficiency of
the current system and increase its functionality.
SDI provided a
custom host interface to Red Prairie using SDI's Warehouse Controls Package ( Interface
Manager ). Client did not need to modify the existing Red Prairie system
to achieve the desired results.
SDI installed 3 Print and Apply Systems
each capable of handling up to 35 Cases Per minute, controlled by SDI'd
Print manger Software. Receiving capacity is 30,000 cases per shift.
SDI
Controls and Software replaced any existing controls including existing conveyors
and carton sorter to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
System
combined high speed conveyors and energy efficient 24 Volt
Roller conveyors ( MDR ) to provide a total solution.
System was installed
around a working operation without interrupting processing. |
