This product line was developed in conjunction with a client who had a requirement
to process Garment on a hanger. The client, however, did not want to use traditional
trolley systems to convey the product. This client considered them antiquated,
unproductive and unsafe.
SDI worked together with this client
to develop a Trolley-less range of equipment that can be used within a Distribution
center to convey product without the need for Trolleys.
The
system uses a patented process called “Slick Rail"“ that allows hangers
to be smoothly pushed along the slick surface.
The system, developed
by SDI, offers a entire range of switches, storage, conveyance and semi- automated
feed systems. The system is often used in conjunction with a Hanging Garment
sorter and feed systems onto and out of such a sorter have been developed.
The conveyance solution offers rates that are higher than traditional
trolley systems.
Annually in the USA, this solution is responsible
for conveying over 400 Million units through distribution centers on their way
to your local store. |
